Sometimes I offer camps during breaks throughout the school year. Please check back! Winter break camp includes winter science topics and activities. Examples are: What do animals do in the winter? Snow study and growing crystals, making igloos, making ice-cream, experiments that are winter and snow related, and more. 60's Throwback Camp a three hour camp where kids make tie-dye and hula hoops. Going Wild! For kids that truly enjoy being outdoors. We will explore and observe nature while hiking local trails around Park City, in Big and Little Cottonwood Canyons and the Uintas. During our hikes, campers will not only learn about the flora and fauna, but will also engage in nature-based mindfulness activities such as: a sensory scavenger hunt, creating nature art, mindful listening, and even just watching the clouds.
I offer private camps for younger kids with the same themes as the regular summer camps, but with a modified, age appropriate curriculum and shorter day. I need a minimum of 5 students. You get a group together and decide which camp you want. Please contact Summit Learning LLC for more information.
